Maureen Denise McCormick, the only daughter of Richard McCormick, and Irene McCormick, was born in Woodland Hills California on 5 August 1956. Her mother was at home and was also a mom. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her older brothers. McCormick started dancing and singing in her early years and often performed plays with puppets for the children from her neighborhood. In the year she turned 6years old, she won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her and asked whether she was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick found her first role as a major actress in 1964. McCormick was in a commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she was a guest on an additional company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was soon cast in her role in the La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp and ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was picked out of a crowd of over 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance for the role of the oldest of three daughters towheaded in the upcoming TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with a blended family. The series lasted 5 years. McCormick revealed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year duration on the program.
